We’re sending a huge congratulations to East High School scholar Ashley for winning the Veterans of Foreign Wars Voice of Democracy essay contest! Ashley took first place in the district and ranked fifth overall among more than 80 talented students. Her powerful reflection on patriotism, prompted by “How Are You Showing Patriotism and Support for our Country,” truly stood out to the judges.
