The NWEA Growth Competition encouraged students to reach their growth targets in reading and math, with the winning grade level earning an ice cream social. Students who met their NWEA growth goals were celebrated for their achievements with certificates of recognition and a well-deserved ice cream social.
Sophomores were honored in a morning assembly in front of their peers, while freshmen were recognized in the afternoon. The school set ambitious goals for 2025—aiming for 70% of students meeting their math growth targets and 64% meeting their reading targets, an increase from last year’s 50% and 55%, respectively.
With a focus on motivation and achievement, the school rallied behind the theme of "Wake Up & Slay," encouraging students to surpass previous growth levels and take pride in their academic success. We got this!
