East High School Campus
Our Vision ... Our Mission ... Our History ...

To create a school that is highly regarded for its academic excellence, by preparing secondary students to prepare for, accepted into, and to graduate from post-secondary education or select a technical career and actively contribute, serve and improve the community in which we live.

For East High School is to strive to be a community developing students to become higher order thinkers, strengthen leadership skills, while enhancing peacemaking skills in an environment of shared values of nonviolence, equality and unity. And where the staff is dedicated to creating and teaching in a learning environment where everyone is treated with unconditional respect. Every student will be empowered and inspired to reach his or her full academic, emotional, physical and spiritual potential.

A Little Bit of History

The original East High School was open from 1925 to 1998 when it was converted to a middle school and closed following the 2006 winter quarter. It was rebuilt and reopened as a high school in 2007, following the closing of Rayen High School and Wilson High School.
